I bought these on my shopping spree yesterday. They measure about 15" tall. They have hanging loops, and an opening in the backside. The white one has lost his mustache and goatee, but still has a tag that says Patent Applied For. Are they to use as Christmas stockings? Aren't they awesome????

Until I saw the photos, I was going to guess those hanging things 'to put your PJs in' as the family friend who gave me one explained it.

It was a Christmas gift but not Christmas themed. Think it was actually a light blue heart with some lacy edging. It was a lot like the lingerie bags women used to have to gather their delicates until they were ready to hand wash them. Back when you had stockings, not pantyhose that came in an egg.

Since it may not have been clear from our descriptions, PJ bags were also designed so they could hang. Mine was on the inner knob of the bathroom door. But you could just as soon stuff it with pajamas & leave it on the bed like a throw pillow.
