I was going through my dad's tools and tools from inheritances from his family, too. My dad past away around 6 years ago and I am helping my mom identify things and identify things, too. Sorry for not knowing how to rotate some of these pics. Is this a vintage flame thrower? On the side of the vertical set screw says maybe 248.7 or 1 or 249.7 or 1. What is this? How old? Who made it? On the spout says maybe S.5E1. From top of hook to end of tank the height is about 11". From handle to end of spout length is like 7 3/4". The bottom is nearly 5 5/8" D. Thank you for the assistance in this request.
