I was wondering what company made this vintage glass cigarette ashtray or a relish dish? How to describe the pattern on this item. What is the wavy sides called? What year is this from? Top dimension are 6 3/4" x 6 3/4" x 1" in the down position and 1 3/4" in the up position. The bottom dimensions are 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" Thank you for your assistance in this request. Rob

Looks like you are showing two different pieces.

The first one is known for being as reproductive as a rabbit. Turns up everywhere and in colors. Value very low.

The second does indeed look like an ashtray

I mistakenly uploaded a wrong picture. I deleted the mistake and replaced it with the proper picture. Sorry for my mixup. Thank you. Rob

    This is not an ashtray.
Small bowl for what ever. Candy, nuts.

Not sure if the maker has ever been determined. If it has, I don't know who made it.

    Wait for others to comment

My mother had one or two of the same dishes sitting on a LR table.

    She used it for M & M's!:cat:

More reproductive than a rabbit. Never leave it alone in the dark.

I should have put quotes around it. Someone else responded with that and is why I put that saying in my question.

From Tallcakes ad "VERY INEXPENSIVE" everyone had one or two or three.

You find them in every thrift shop. Most garage sales. Colors are not as plentiful as the clear, but color doesn't increase the value by more than a dollar.
