Picked up this necklace. Not sure what the stone is, maybe jade? The mark is so tiny, I had to hold the chain with tweezers and try to snap a picture of the mark. Can anyone help? I don't think the mark is English.

Green Aventurine perhaps? Does it have tiny sparkly bits in it?

I am not a gemologist but the stones look like Aventurine to me. I have seen Aventurine beads and stones that had the "freckles" just like these.

Could be aventurine. Thanks Crazy and Kasemi.

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

This is just trying to clarify the mark on the clasp.....don't think I was very successful.....one was a 'denoise' filter and the second was a 'sharpening and enlarging by 1.5X'(and ONLY concentrating on the clasp/loop):

Is it possible that it is written in one of the many languages commonly found in India?
