Vintage Handpainted and handcrafted Wood Trunk Box

The metal accessories looks like they have been hand fabricated, except for a modern piece that might have been added much later.
    The box is 23" long, 13" wide and 13" high. I don't what kind of wood it's made of and the age.
    The interior is black and I haven't seen of wooden boxes with that color
    I acquired it at antique store that was moving and having a discount sale.
    Any help will be greatly appreciated

    Very pretty! I agree with @Bakersgma and @Debora on the age. I bought a painted box at an antique shop once that turned out to be new. But I bought it for decorative use and didn't mind. I like the one you posted, @abuadam97 .
