I have a vintage Japanese puzzle box that I received from my grandfather as a child, Im looking to figure out what the value would be as it has seen better days and I’d like to either fix or replace it as it’s been in my family for a long time. Thank you if anyone knows anything about these, I cannot find any that have the same design ANYWHERE.
    Much appreciated.

Looks like the pattern that was sold at Pier One imports in the 60's.You might find one similar on Ebay.

Scottie dogs were one of the most popular dog breeds in the U.S. in the 1930s-1940s and, because of that, a common design motif.

Looks post-war to me, the earlier ones are finer.
