Vintage lamp

Trying to find a date for This lamp and see if it’s worth anything I couldn’t see any markings other then what looks like a number on the bottom

Looks mid-century (1950's or so) to me. Not really collectible and not attractive to the MCM collectors.

60s for sure! I would have a hard time selling this but could see how the Hollywood Regency crowd might like this with an appropriately hideous shade

 

Yes, a 50's era lamp base. An interpenetration of Victorian design theme (the spelter base looks very much like the 1880-1900 lamp bases. If these era lamps are immaculate with a nice shade they can sell for maybe $35., but so often they are rescued from 40 years of storage in a damp basement and the plated harp is rusting & the spelter parts are also in a deteriorated state. As 'verybrad' stated. . . difficult to sell in this condition.
