This grinder runs at low speed, maybe 300 rpm, very slow for a pedestal-type grinder. It measures about 2x2x4’ and weighs maybe 300 lbs. There are two wheels and one cone grindstone. The stones and speed are optimized for knives, plane blades, wood chisels, etc. It has a one-pint or so kerosene tank built in the top, as Kerosene is the “coolant” used. The fluid comes out of the brass U-shapes over each wheel, I think, haven’t run it with kero yet. Cleaning the pedestal wasn’t a priority but I’ll get to that one day. 3B910B6B-BDE4-4548-A6EE-271EADA6E897.jpeg
