Featured Vintage or just made to look so. Hmm

hey. Construction on the back is making me think vintage but the front looks new to me. It’s such a pretty piece.
Any ideas?

The back looks newer to me, maybe 90s ish.

 

I have to say I'm not positive on this one. It's unusual. The rhinestones in the columns is sort of a more expensive to implement construction, if it is newer, I think a somewhat nice costume piece. What I'm having trouble seeing is do the star arms loop back around??

So from construction I'd guess older, but have to say I've just never seen a vintage piece like this -- which makes me hesitate. More photos, maybe? Clear photo from the side with nothing in the background might help. It's a cool piece.

 

@Lucille.b I tried to capture as many aspects as I could. I thought the prongs around the pink stones might be a clue. Not that they couldn’t have copied from earlier stuff. The channel set stones I think are what @Ownedbybear was talking about. Is channel set right?

Boy this is a stumper! I have never seen anything like this with those channel set crescent shaped arms. With the foiled rhinestone showing through the back, it definitely seems to have a bit of quality, unlike the absolute modern Chinese pieces made to look vintage, so we can rule brand new out, I think. But honestly don't know what era! Maybe 1990s as suggested ?? ...when costume was still made with a bit of quality? Or genuine vintage?
