    Is vintage/antique jewelry typically worth anything?? The older styles are so beautiful!!

    Can be. First question... Do your brooches have any marks? If so, please post photographs. Also please post photographs of the clasps, which is helpful in dating.

    This one appears to be an older pin with possible half pearls and amethyst. Possibly in 10K. 10K was not necessarily marked.
    Please post a picture of the back.

    Looking again at the other pin. You may need a jeweler to check if it is a diamond.
    As Debora requested, we need pictures of the back.

    It depends on a lot of things.
    Most are.:happy:
    These are two lovely brooches, but we really need to see the backs as well. Backs often reveal more to us than the pretty fronts.
    And as Debora asked, are there any marks? Marks can be tiny and can even be on the pin or the side of the clasp.

    Victorian jewellery was often unmarked. The amethyst star would be £50 to £80 here, maybe a little more. The other about the £60 mark.
