Vintage Plateria-Santiago Silver Ladle....Origin??...Not Marked Sterling??

I believe this is an older piece & I will have it tested...I just, wonder if all Plateria Silver is marked 925..sterling etc...Any help appreciated

 

Plateria (something) is the name of the store. It's in Santiago (Chile?) on Avenida Juarez. You need to see what you can make of the upward curving line of letters at the bottom. Looks like it ends in -noya.

 

Have you looked it over for a separate fineness mark? Plateria (silversmith) Luis Moya.

Maybe it's 'Plateria Santiago' at Avenida Juarez and Luis Moya in Mexico City, with perhaps a very poorly struck 1960s-70s 'Eagle' mark to upper right of the mark...

I have gone over every inch of this & there are no other markings??...I have googled every word & found Santiago in Chile....But,Santiago De Compostela In Spain,Has a section called Platerias....This,I believe,could be its origin...Luis Moya..The maker???

 

Probably just a coincidence that "Av. Juarez Y Luis Moya" is an intersection in Mexico City's historic district, with Avenida Juarez noted as an exclusive shopping area in the 1940s-60s, the shops including one called 'Plateria Alameda' (Plateria 'whatever' isn't uncommon on Mexican silver)...

If you can't find any marks, then there's a good possibility that it's silverplate - if you want to entertain the possibility that it might be of Mexican origin, will say that I've seen that fancy edge decoration on mid 20th century Mexican silver and silverplate both (more often holloware, but your ladle may have matched another piece).
