I have this Vintage Porcelain Paint Trinket Basket Candy Dish Gold Trim
Some gold wear along top of handle and at one of the shorter of 2 sides of the basket.
Looks like hand painted with pink roses and red, white and violet flowers along
with a worm. Although there are no identifying marks or stamps, the pink roses
leads me to believe made in Japan probably during the Occupied Japan period.
Dimensions at the widest sections are 4 3/4" x 3 1/2" x 1" tall at the ends and
3/4" tall at the midsection of the length in other words where the handle begins.
Do you think I should not put my guess of where it was made and does anyone
know if this is worth much more than $7? Thank you for the assistance. Rob
