Vintage Railroad Poster

    Hello. I have an an old Southern Pacific Golden State Route railroad poster. It dates from WWII. The train is carrying military equipment. It is in its original frame. The artist is Fred Ludekens. I was able to find an old magazine ad featuring the artwork of the poster. I am curious as to whether or not the poster has any value as I am interested in selling it. Thanks for helping me out!

    I would certainly think it was saleable. If you look at eBay Completed listings, for instance, there's interest in Southern Pacific Golden State Route items. And as train depicted is carrying military materiel, there would be crossover interest. Not sure I would call it a poster though. Given orientation and size, looks more like a print.

    Thank you! It measures 31” x 25”. It’s actually a poster of the image in the magazine ad you posted. I appreciate you taking the time to help:)
