Can't look it up right now, but it looks like a spin-off of a Spratling mark. Maybe someone who once worked for Spratling?
The design is well known, early to mid century, and I forgot the details. Sorry, not much use to you right now, my flu has the upper hand at the moment.:sorry:
Forgot to say, I love it.

I think that's one of the few silver items I might not polish.....the dull aging of the metal gives off a classy vibe !!!!!:wideyed:

Feel better soon , AJ !!!!:)
    Rest and liquids...!!!

NICE! I went looking and found a few others by the same maker, but nothing on the maker. It was made probably in the 1930s or 1940s. Beyond that...not a clue.

They way to make a piece like this look better is to wear it; the tarnish rubs away on its own. It'll never look new, but who wants it to?

At a fast glance I wondered if it was a Spratling mark I didn’t know but it definitely isn’t and the similarity is IMO not coincidental. Totally legal though. Nice vintage clamper bracelet of higher quality IMO and made of higher grade Sterlng. I don’t see all that much 940 and I’m always looking for Mexican silver. It’s usually 925, 950 or occasionally 970.

I don’t polish my vintage silver with anything other than a cloth with a super light hand. Just enough to remove anything that’s really getting dark.

I clean and polish everything. I'm not going to wear someone else's sweat!:woot::woot::woot:
Silver is meant to be polished.

    Absolutely lovely bracelet.

Different strokes lol. If I owned that bracelet and someone made it shiny silver I’d be sick. IMO it depends on the piece. I do keep all modernist silver shined (Peretti e.g.)
