Featured Vintage turquoise bead necklace and earrings. Help please.

    This set came from a great aunt. She was born and lived in Philadelphia. The beads feel like glass, but could they be real turquoise? There are no marks on the necklace or earrings that I can see. Thanks.

    I'm seeing glass. Turquoise can be polished & smooth but doesn't really achieve a glassy finish, in my experience.

    Given the brushed gold, I'd put it a bit later. Early 1960s.

    These are (replica) 1950s. Similar in design but flatter.
