Featured Vintage White Coral Earrings

    I looked for hours last night and didn't see anything like these. Only set in brass screwbacks, what type of white coral do you think this is? I also researched types of coral. Thanks.

    Having asked that, I admit I don't know. Somewhere around here I have a home made necklace that uses the same material. I consider it too scratchy to wear around the neck. Forget how I got. Came with something else, maybe. If I can find it, I'll come back. It almost doesn't seem like coral, although I have no doubt it is some kind of ocean life.

    Brought up a nice memory, my late brother Ken brought me seashells and several pieces of coral, including staghorn, from when he was on R&R in Australia in the late'60s - but varieties are certainly found elsewhere too...
