We have a knitter in the home so this vintage pottery jar was a no-brainer last weekend at a garage sale for $2.

Thinking maybe 1980s plus or minus? Person selling said it was her mom's and that it originally came with a 2nd figure that was a man (no longer available as it broke). This figure is a pottery jar, the head removes and is hollow inside. Signed on the base.

Not absolutely desperate to find the maker because I'm keeping the piece for now, but wanted to share. Isn't it cute?

Adorable! I think 80's plus minus is reasonable.

Just a whimsical decoration to enjoy. Thanks! I honestly don't keep too many things to display... but with the knitting theme and vintage look, this one will hang around for a while. :)
