Wanted: old Brass or Tin cup to fit...

    I need the Ash Tray Insert to complete my Gypsy Cigarette Set. An original would be nice, though unlikely.

    The opening is 2.5" diameter, the insert will need a lip of 1/16" to sit on the rim, and a maximum 1.5" depth.

    It can be bowl or cylindrical in shape. The grip is not necessary.

    The first two sets of images are of my piece. The last grouping shows what it should be, and is from an eBay sale.

    Suggestions also appreciated.

    I saw a 2" brass insert on a on old ashtray today. Close - but no cigar! :cigar:

    Your Gypsy girl is an Arab girl though.;) The brassware she is offering for sale is Middle Eastern, and she is wearing a classic Yemen style Labbeh necklace.
    I would call your set Orientalist.
