The interior is yellow and shows quite a wear and crackles ( can't be seen good from the picture). The exterior glaze looks much newer, glossy and much less wear. Do you think the piece was reglazed? As to the origin and maker of the vase, no idea... maybe Japanese?
    Thanks

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

Don't know much about the pottery, but to me, looks like someone was sloppy around the flowers with the brown and blue........I (IMHO) would say...that's too bad:(:(:(.....otherwise a pretty vase!

    Hi,
Just think the vase was used so the wear to the inside is common. Do not think reglazed since the heat used would have destroyed the piece.

I like it too but did not buy it because that sloppy decoration on the branches and leaves bug me.

I get the feeling this is Asian trying to be something it's not. With what looks like a chip on the rim and the drippy paint I'd have left it too.
