    Better pic. I was longing for the camera to get back to him so I could home in on it. It strangely looks different in both pics. I don't know if it was the camera angle.

    Yes, that is a Santo Domingo (style) necklace.

    It looked good on him. The film was 1967. I wonder if it was his necklace.

    They are definitely two different necklaces. Both are similar, in that they are turquoise, but the prop people probably figured no one would notice, or care.

    The first one is more "chunky," the turquoise is spaced closer together, it hangs differently, and is probably a little more uncomfortable to wear, to say nothing of possibly being a little more "distracting."

    Methinks the necklace was more a nod to 1967 than 1867.

    You are right. The camera was never on him long enough for me to home in on the necklace. Strangely enough, I was'nt interested in the film, just looking at the necklace. I only saw the last 20 mins.

    LOL, I noticed it was two different necklaces too, but not surprising, even in the old westerns.
