Watches, watches, watches.

  1. In one of my other posts I mentioned I was looking for help with some watches and someone suggested I post a few at a time on here. What I would like to find out is if any of these have any value (of course), should they be sold off separately or grouped together and where would be the best place to offload them? Is there even a market for these old watches?

I like the older ones best so I started with them.

    Accutron 10k gold filled H55339
Enzo 17 jewel incabloc (<---I have no idea what that means)
    Tailorette antimagnetic
    Omega 18k 0.750 17 jewel
    Baylor 21 jewel
Whittnauer 10kt g filled (black velvet band)
Hamilton 10kt g filled (black band)
Bulava 10kt rolled gold plate H061164 (no winder pin)

Thanks for helping me with these...I'll add more in another post.

komokwa The Truth is out there...!

Bad news, is they are all ladies watches ...very low demand...

Good news, is the Omega 18k 0.750 17 jewel....qualifies as jewelry....and should sell well on it's own.....( it's also a quality brand..)

The one with the 3 rope band , may sell on it's own merits too....it's funky enuf !

    IMO....

The world is awash in vintage women's watch but -- as above -- OMEGA + gold = good.

    incabloc

Wittnauer were watchdealers of Swiss origin that built up a net of dealerships in the US since 1845 and sold Swiss made brands only like Longines, Girard-Perregaux etc. and had an own production as well.

that Omega would go to the smelter around here and is called an "old wife" model that would not be worn by any woman except by the ones that are already lying in the hearse on its way to the funeral.

  7. I'm happy to report that ALL of the watches, including the ones in the pictures are back in a box on a shelf in the closet. This girl is officially out of the watch business.

    I think it's more like......
Davey does a house clearance .....finds a box of old women's watches that the family didn't care for and left behind.....and then shows us pics of the solid gold Omega...that he'll melt for 1200 pounds !!!!

& we all cheer his good fortune !!!!:happy::happy::eek::eek::eek:

Think the "atomic" one next to it would do okay too, just based on design.
