We have two guesses...

    Found this today at the farm. I am guessing dried flower holder. My daughter's guess is potpourri holder.

    Anyone have an educated answer to what this is? It is made of brass.

    Cat is for size referrence ;)

    Flower holder is lovely but Kitty is GORGEOUS !!! ... Joy.

    Thank you. His name is O'Malley. I inherited all 18 lbs of him from my Aunt where I'm finding all these other little treasures. He is a sweetheart but incredibly sassy and chatty. LOL

    He has a very fine agouti coat. Wonder if there's a bit of Abyssinian in him.

    We got him from our vet. He got him in a box dumped on his front door as a kitten. Poor little guy. But he is fat and sassy now!!

    I got one of mine the same way - an eleven month old rather damaged boy dumped on my vet, who knew I'd take him. Eleven years later and the rest is history.

    In UK we call these rose bowls. Yours looks Indian made, 20thC.
