    just thought I’d share these beauty’s with you, what’s your thoughts?

    the description of them I have is The following:-

    8” tall
    10” wide
    1kg each

    Pair of Webb Corbett yellow glass vases, with nature designs “Butterfly and Dragonfly” signed J Powell, c 1950+

    Hi,
    Shine a UV light on them they look like Vaseline glass.

    Nope, it's true. Those are decent - again, can you get a photo of the signature? I think £150 is optimistic.

    Take them out in BRIGHT sunshine they should glow.

    Okay, so then my next question (as I am not a seller) is why do you say they are valued at almost triple the price you are asking for on ebay? :cyclops:

    Rather sparse title on the listing. Take advantage of the number of characters available. Add glass, add cut, add pair, add England. Check to see if it glows, and if it does (which seems likely) add Vaseline. Put that title to work!

    I’ve copied and pasted the information from the previous owners inventory she made some years ago.

    It’s on a starting price of £37 to try and gain some interest I guess

    Managed to find a better picture of a marking on the bottom of the vase if it helps

    Hi Andy,
    DEFINITELY Vaseline glass. They are just drop dead gorgeous. The base in the sunlight is just glowing yellow-green.
