Weight estimate of boxed helical gears

I have to put this palletized crate of helical gears on a low trailer Monday, in another city. It’d be nice to have some idea of the weight of this box so I can take the right equipment, there won’t be any forklift around.

The only info I have is that the box is 41” long, 34” wide, and 24” high.

The gears and shafts are steel, and you can estimate the volume of steel and multiply by density of 0.283 lbs/cubic inch.

Take the lid off and unpack it. Put the box on the trailer and pack it again.
The individual gears should be liftable by hamd.

 

The main gear is huge compared to the plastic filler bits That's gotta be at least a "two very strong persons" lift. Watch your back springfield

 

Gears alone proved to weigh about 900 lbs. If you want photos of trailer being loaded with this crate, I have some.
