    Here's a pot I grabbed mainly to ask about this strange (to me) glaze. It's 5" tall by 5" across,seems unmarked,age unknown.Thick walled and heavy like typical industrial garden pottery-but not like a heavy-handed amateur throw.
    Just haven't seen this crystalline fractal-style glaze before.
    All comments welcome-Thanks !

    I've seen the crystalline glaze before, but never on a flower pot. It's always been artisan ware.

    Yes-The flower pot thing threw me !
    Thanks 2Many-Matt Horne's stunning. The thinness of the necks on those vases is remarkable.
    PS-Quite the glaze on work/utilitarian pottery:peeking::artist: ?

    Strange, indeed...the center of a few of those radiant patches show a dimple (pic 4)...are they physical, or just apparent?

    Good observation Whit-those 'dimples' seem to be in the center of most (all?) fractal-scale like patches.Almost looks like some kind of sea creature or mineral specimen,but I guess it is a mineral manifestation of sorts ?

    Kinda like the 'seed' that snowflakes form around...or maybe not. Be nice to know more about that phenomenon, eh?
