    Hello,
Yesterday I found metal tree in the attic and I am really curious how old is it. Could anyone tell me something about that tree, please? I couldn't find anything about it. The only thing I found is '' Fraget N Plaque '' at the bottom of the tree.
(I also want to say sorry for my bad English ‍♀️)

Welcome to the forum, Gabi. Please don't worry about your English, it is fine.

Are you in Poland, by any chance? Fraget was a Warsaw company, but I also see it referred to as Russian, due to occupation.
'Plaque' means silver plated, but I see no silver on your tree. Maybe a gentle wash will reveal some silver. The mark is probably the one for 1896-1914.
Here is some info on Fraget:

Below is your photo. How big is the tree? Do you also have photos of the mark and the bottom?
And please click on 'full image' when you post photos, that way everyone can see them.:)

Thank you, Gabi. I see you have already found a close match to your mark on the Ascas site. The number at the bottom would be the product code, which is why the number on the site is different from yours. And 1896-1914 would be the period.

Thing that bothers me a lot is the fact that I can't find any informations about it :( I wanted to know if that tree is worth somethi g and if I could sell it. I have no idea what to do with that tree. The weird thing is also that tree has 2 holes... DSC_0093_Easy-Resize.com.jpg

It could have been attached to a plinth. Marble or another stone maybe?

I think it could be worth something, but prices vary from one place to another, and better condition means better value. Why don't you look for Fraget on ebay or another selling platform to get an idea of the value?
Maybe our member @i need help can find a tree like yours, she is a star researcher. She has now been tagged, and will help if she can.:)

    Now off for some deerhunting....:playful:

Seriously Gabi, it would be a good idea to search the attic for the missing deer.

This really looks like a ceiling fixture to me. I think the 3 holes may have been where wires came through for the bulbs. Do you say any place on the underside of the leaves where bulbs may have been attached?

Interesting thought, but I doubt that a ceiling fixture would have feet where it would have been attached to the ceiling.

Ah, yes. I hadn't seen the deer!
I still think it would make a great light fixture!
