Weird Rookwood Pottery bowl with six sided star in bottom

    just wondering about this piece. It has raised fiddle ferns and was made by Sally Coyne in 1905. It has a red and blue six sided star on the bottom of the interior. aaaaDSC08915 (1).jpg aaaaDSC08919 (1).jpg

    It's just odd to see the inside of a piece decorated like that. I've seen quite a bit Rookwood and have not seen it before.
