This standard ware is shown in Sanford's Guide to Peters & Reed, BUT it says it is now believed to be Weller. It was attributed to Peters & Reed by default for many years because of the red clay and because the line wasn't found in any other reference, but Robert Bettinger identified the shapes as Weller when this book was going to print in 2000.
