I'm not an expert in this area at all. I'm guessing Italian.
    So:
Italian Chess Table - I'm not sure if the style is baroque or not. Marquetry is a term used to describe the inlay.
Again guessing time period to be mid to late 1800s.

Here is what some people are asking (which means you can ask anything, but will it sell?) for similar on ebay. Completeds doesn't bring up much

Are you trying to sell this, or are you just asking so you have an idea?
If selling, a lot will depend on where you are and what kind of venue you are trying to sell in. If you have the time and inclination, pictures to a high end auction house might be the way to go.

Forgot to say it is a very nice quality table. Welcome to the boards.

Hi thank you very much for your reply, been really helpful. May be looking to sell but was more looking for idea on value.

Do you have any provenance on this? I am getting the feeling that this is a newer table and not the antique it appears to be. Some pictures of construction from the underside might help to confirm or deny this.

To me the heavy handed pedestal feet are at odds stylistically with the table top. I think it is more Hollywood Regency in style.
