    Poor thing was left out in the rain once too often. Either that or they used shellac instead of marine varnish.

    They'd be as near right as makes no difference saying 1970s. Western Germany points it toward the begining of the brief existance of West Gernany as a nation.

    Thanks didnt want to go a stained finish like original was a bit dark to me beeswax gives it a better finish to me
