What about this photo?

This photo puzzles me. I guess it has an exposure that let in a lot of light on a sunny day, but what about the equipment they have around them?

It was making me resize the photo and by doing it this seemed to change some of the resolution.

 

Coleman or Coleman like camp stove on stand on the right.

 

Maybe you could crop out full size chunks of the photo so the details won't get lost in the resizing.

I hope I'm explaining that so it's comprehensible LOL. I think it would work, assuming each cropped section would be 1 MB or less.

 

Is that a pet otter on the seat besides them?

 

At first I thought it was a black cat. Now that the picture is bigger I think it's a Chihuahua type dog. It's too bad all the details of the woman sitting on the camp chair are washed out by the overexposure.

 

Who takes there bowling ball camping? LOL! That looks just like the bowling ball and shoes bag my Dad had in the 60's

 

Don't they look a little mysterious, even down to the cat? (or Chihuahua, or otter, or ???). Maybe all three are secret agents posing as campers.

 

OK, I give - but still wondering why she is polishing a sword. And the guy is wondering if he can wear his pants a little higher with no suspenders.

 

I didn't even notice the man for a long time. I kept wondering why you were talking about "them" and "they" as if there were two people and I only saw the woman and the critter. He looked like part of the tent fabric to me LOL.

OMG! I kept looking for a guy over on the left. He was well camouflaged as part of the tent!!!

 

Open collar, longish skirt. 1930s maybe.
