What age is this Mexican clay vessel / vase?

I assume that this water vessel or vase is Mexican but if I am wrong please let me know.
Got this for 1$ in garage sale and was wondering what age it is. It does look like a modern imitation of a pre-columbian vessel but if you look inside the glaze has cracks so it may be mid-century more like. It has a felt bottom and measures 12.7'' inches high.
