    It looks like just the handle is sterling silver. The rest of the tool looks like a real tool. So my guess is that this is a tool to work with jewelry. Like attaching jump rings, working with chains, etc.

    Sterling silver needle nose pliers would certainly be an upgrade to my tool box. :D

    Can't help with what they may be for unless they were intended as presentation pieces for an engineer or similar? But now I've seen them I want some lol. Not sure I'd ever risk using them though.

    I don't think so, not with those teeth. They would leave nasty marks on the jewelry :(
