    Not antique.

I bought bunches of these fringe-things. I know they have something to do with furniture or curtains BUT what kind / style and where do you put these?

Usually along the bottom edges of upholtery or curtains, not a fashionable practice nowadays, common enough not all that many years ago.

Could be used for decorating fabric shades "for old look". Old kind of "heavy" tapestry kind table-cloth, or just tapestry 206853.jpg il_340x270.975492704_plp4.jpg il_570xN.842953274_rz6w.jpg .

Wanttoknow: I always think it is cool how the Russian language (Cyrillic--too lazy to look it up) uses what we call numbers (I think) in it. Coolio!

    lloyd249 it's not hoarding if it's valuable

it is called GIMP , I used to build woven wood window shades for abbey blinds in Vancouver and we had a lady that work in the gimping department for pretty much all her life, she would show me all the different patterns of gimp so i could glue them on the sample boards as i had a hard time remembering their pattern names , there is a lot .
