Featured What are these?

Any ideas please? Random item I picked up at a car boot today.
Only thing I can think is curtain tie backs?. Look quite old but WDIK.
Very heavy. Each glass bead is 1 1/2 inches long and 1 inch wide. Hook on one end and split ring on the other. Each piece is c28 inches long not including the ring or hook.
To give an idea of size they are on two pieces of A4 paper.
Does the chain, split rings or hook date them?
I know they aren’t jewellery but thought there was enough of a cross over and I’m happy in here

No idea of the use, but I'm sure they will find a use... Decorate the ponies?

 

I think they would fall over they are that heavy!
