I was doing some spring cleaning and i found these in a wooden box. They are my grandfathers. Are they cufflinks? they open up like press buttons. Many of them are pairs. Some are missing their pairs. I could not find any specific name embossed anywhere. Are these collectible or do they have a specific name to search for? Or should I just junk them? once again TIA.
These are actually cufflinks. https://www.google.com/search?sourc...AhUfhHIEHXYyDk0QjJkEegQIBxAB&biw=1920&bih=937 https://texasgaltreasures.com/2017/...s-and-how-to-sell-cufflinks-on-ebay-and-etsy/
Those on your links might be but the OPs are Studs, from when men wore detatchable collars. The Stud boxes were also used to store cufflinks. Sometimes 4 studs were used on one collar, back, front and lapels.
You can see where they snap apart & then will snap back together again. I have several pairs waiting to be sold & have sold several different lots of them. The one that is open at the bottom right is constructed like a reg snap you would find on any style of clothing. Many companies made them such as Kum-a-part. Are any of yours marked inside? @Roshan Ko Here is a Youtube video about them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?reload=9&v=h8ugMTiIu-0 These are collar studs. https://www.google.com/search?q=col...g&ei=BH2YX-nOH6jlwbkP-oWZ6A4&bih=937&biw=1920
