Hello: I inherited some silver tableware from my grandmother. I believe these two items are cake or pie servers. The only markings on the back are ITALY. What are these? Are they silver and what would be the value. Thanks.
How big? I would guess cake server. If no marks other than Italy, then probably plate. Look very carefully.
Often part of souvenir set of serving pieces with finials displaying city symbols. I can't tell which cities are shown here from the small size pictures.
Same pattern and from Italy suggests Italian souvenirs. St. Mark, Venice, and the Vatican? A closer picture of the finials might give the answer.
