What country is this carpet from?

Sorry, I cannot, but don't give up hope, we have members who may be able to identify it for you and translate. I just wanted to say how beautiful this rug is. I'm not sure if the large amount of carnage on it - is extraordinary, or not. So I will be following too, thanks.

 

Dunno where it's from the design is of a mihrab (or arch) with a tree of life center. Here's another example. In Arab art, a calligraphy text is typically religious.

I think there are several rug designs where the weaver signed their work. The most famous are Tabriz rugs but also some Heriz and Catalins. You might compare signatures.

 

IMO not India or Pakistan. Pretty sure it’s Turkish.

LOL and agree but IMO quality eliminates the other two although both countries knock those off.

 

Hi there - this rug is from Iran, I think. Looks like a Kashmar or Isfahan Tree of Life weaving. The idea of the garden as a depiction of paradise is a common theme in Islam. As for the script at the top, I would think it's a date but I don't read Arabic, I'm afraid.
