The lack of old patina. The surface shown appears somewhat falsely aged in color. What is the material of this piece said to be made of? @Silver Wolf

I know you've been wanting an older statue, I just don't think this is older than the 1990s.

It looks like it has rust on it.

    But bronze doesn't rust.

So, it's either not bronze or not rust. And if not rust, what? Maybe applied patina?

could it be mix of brass-bronze can created rust?because sometimes there're "bronze" statue that was made with the mixing of brass-bronze together,:angelic:

No. Even a rusty cast-iron statue would not be rusted evenly all over. This looks quite nice, but it's not old.

I really don't have a clue about the age, but... yeah, it does seem off.

Yeah Jivvy, you know, I just got on here to type that brass / bronze don't rust, and then started to think about if it WERE a rustable metal, which it's not, it still wouldn't have such an "even" all-over patina (of rust). So in my effort to help @Silver Wolf understand how I can look at that thing and see that it's not old and it's an applied patina, I forgot the point to say first! ;) smh at myself :(
