What is my huge basket and what could it worth?

It is huge woven basket: 21" dim top, flat part of bottom 9" dim & 8" H. It is partial damaged at the top rim. Thank you.
P.S. In person colors are not so rich and basket is not so shiny. Just day was very sunny.

 

Wish I had better news, but this is a contemporary import from Pakistan. with little if any resale value, especially with damage. New, they wholesale for under $20.

(That gives you an idea of how much the workers in Pakistan receive for weaving a basket like this. And they are imported by the thousands.)

 

and now for the good news....

you could fill it with fruit and use it as a grand centerpiece on your dining room table.................
OR

Wear it as a rain hat.....

OR

A large frizbee......

 

@Taupou, @komokwa Thanks for fast information and for advises . First of all, I am absolutely not disappoint. I paid $1.99 for it and there was only one reason why I bought it: I will give it to my daughter for using it as a bed for her adapted 2 cats & 3 tiny dogs. Or she could use it for animals toys. I am sure they will like it. But of course this kind of used item NEVER would be used for fruit and located at my table. Brrrrrrrrrrrr

 

Wanttoknow, I agree completely with you on not using it for fruit (or other foods) and not having it placed on a table where people are eating.

 

It is already outside "breathing". Hope neighbor's cats won't mark it.
