I found this today at a local thrift store - it is hand painted & made of carved wood - but it is very light weight.
    Where is it from?
    What is it?
    Tribal or a tourist piece?
As always I appreciate any help.
PS - looking at it again, with the skull and roses - could it be Mexican & something to do with their day of the dead?

It looks like it. You will probably find something similar if you google Dia de los Muertos.

Unless, of course, someone in an Amish community went quite, quite mad.

Maybe a Mexican Amish?:) After all, there are Mexican Mennonites.

That's a little wacky; odds are good it would sell. I'd be questioning the mental state of the buyer, but.... :android::android::android::eek::jawdrop:
