My first thought when I saw this cool statue was Mexican from the saddle, then Chinese. I found this heavy, brass? metal? (look at pic where bottom is showing - you can see what looks like gold paint? drip inside the hoof/leg) horse covered in a gold thread? and studded with (I think) semi precious stones.

Is this a style that has a name? Was it a souvenir or is it art? What do I call this when selling it?

    Any idea of age?

Any help with this one would be appreciated!

I agree, India. The general shape of the horse, the style of the brass filigree with stones.

    What do I call it?
Also - Looking again I think it's made of brass & that's not gold paint inside hoof/foot?
