What Is This Help

    Hi All,
    what is this thing? when I pushed the handle down, oil/grease stuff came shooting out the hole, circled in 2nd photo. The top screws off, to be bolted to something?
    any information appreciated

    Looks like a bottle jack for lifting heavy things. I've got a couple around here somewhere.

    might be a porta-power,for running a hydraulic ram...looks like a button head grease fitting on top,does it have spring loaded hole in the center,of that fitting...i would say not a bottle jack

    i'm all shook up...lol.....calling this a power unit,,,maybe a hose hooks to the top?????been hoping to find some stuff,so i can ask about it here,,,tag/estate sales just getting going....ebay slightly entertaining...lol....nice to here from ya neighbor....

    Looks like an old grease pump to me. Possibly for industrial use.
    You would hook a hose to the nipple below with a fitting on the other end to fit whatever you were needing to grease.

    yes thats it,you fill thru the top...thats a button head fitting....i have a td6 ih,,,ya oil the rollers with a pump...its gear lube 90 weight

    But rebuild it with new seals if you are gonna sell - could be a lawsuit in the making if somebody get's hurt!
