    You need to change the security/sharing setting on your pictures from Private to Public @AntiqueAnimals

    Looks like cast aluminum. I think there may have been a tag on the back at one time, looks like a spot on the wood where there was one.

    Likely zinc if it's an old "cut" or printing plate.

    The number 24 could have significance.

    In the Netherlands we have 'The Song of the Eighteen Dead', a 1941 poem about Dutch Resistance fighters waiting to be executed by the Nazis. It was published illegally and became a symbol of the Resistance.
    A different number, but that is what this reminded me of.
