What is this Metal Figure?

    I recently purchased this metal figure which is about 5 1/2" tall and has a hole in each foot where a rod or bolt may have been placed to attach it to something. There are no maker marks on it. Does anyone know what this metal figure was part of or used for? Thanks in advance for all replies.

    I was thinking maybe it might have been the handle of a corkscrew with the arms stretched out like they are for a handle to rotate the corkscrew with and pull the cork out with?
