What is this? Mini Spittoon? Mini Ashtray you Carry?

    I found this yesterday & I'm curious what it is- can anyone tell me ?(my thought was a mini/carry around spittoon/ashtray- but if the chain is to wear around your neck...yech!)

    Given the grape cluster and general quality, I think a modern gimmicky one not the kind used by a professional.
