What is this Pot & who made it?

I think this is a Japanese Donabe OR a Korean Ceramic Stew Pot, however, I'm not sure and I'm completely confused by the Asian language symbol plus the English word "Green" as a registered trademark. When I try to translate the symbol from the picture it says it's Japanese for Ball, but when I ask for a translation of the word "ball" from English to Japanese, it's not quite the same symbol. Can anyone translate the Asian word? What's up with the English trademark of "Green" in conjunction with it? I went to the Trademark Office's data base, but there are over 52,000 screen pages using green & that's just a bit too much for me. There are no marks of any kind on the bottom and the words on the top are the Latin words for the various flowers shown. Any help at all would be appreciated. IMG_0248.JPG Green.JPG

To me, it doesn't look like they're supposed to be together. Not just the styles, but the lid fits poorly.

It does look like a marriage.

Same here. I bet it cooks fine the way it is, but someone broke the lid from one and the base of the other and put them together.
