What is this small, THIN, Glass Bottle w/Raised Oriental Characters?

    found this at a yard sale & bought it just because it feels so THIN! I like the raised design/characters around the bottle but the thinness got me.
    It measures 5" high & 4" wide
    It also looks like it was burned or has smoke stains - what was this used for?
    Thanks for any info.

    Agree with Shangas - would guess the squiggly lines are just decorative.

    Something about this piece keeps niggling my brain.Give it a good wash,or is that the finish ? It almost looks like Lalique,or some french art glass.

    I'll try cleaning it - it looks almost like smoke damage to me?
