Hello everyone. As you know I am not an expert in jewelry. I got it from my late mom's collection, so I thought I would find out what kind of stone that is. Under flash it changes color and looks like amber, without flash it is transparent black (or dark grey). Any info would be greatly appreaciated. Thanks, Natalia Stone 3.jpg Stone 4.jpg Stone.jpg Stone 2.jpg

Hello Natalia, that is a lovely pendant. I think the stone could be smoky quartz, a transparent-translucent brown stone which can be very dark, almost black.

No one can positively ID a stone like that from a photo, the only way to know for sure is to have it tested :)
