I haven't had a chance to really look around for this one yet, but figured I'd post since I posted the other. Anyone know if this is a symbol for an organization or masonic group?

I never would have guessed that. I was thinking it was for a club or fraternal organization.

I did a reverse image search yesterday but didn't find anything close.

    Thank you!

Bumping this back up as I'm thinking my pin might be something other than the national symbol for Costa Rica. Here is Costa Rica's symbol...

My pin doesn't have a sailing ship or stars.

I used 10kt acid on a scratching of the pin, and it dissolved very, very slowly. Not sure if that means it's a lower karat, like 9kt, or that it's gold filled.

So I'm wondering if the pin could be a symbol for something else. The only other possibility that I could find was the 3 holy mountains of Japan, but I didn't find any kind of pins whatsoever commemorating the mountains.

    Any other suggestions?
